I have always dabbled in the arts because it was the way to express myself, my feelings surfaced in whichever medium I chose. It was the purest form of who I am. My photography always enable me to either create or capture the beauty that I see. I find beauty everywhere, even in sadness. The beauty is found in what you feel. As a photographer, I like to tell stories through my images and also through words. My longing for travel enables me to learn about new places and to meet new people and cultures first hand. So what a perfect combo. It’s all connected and it’s that connection through my art, words and travel experiences that I decided to blog.
Come fly with me to the far reaches of the earth. I started blogging about “Mary & Jene’s Great Adventures” initially so my friends and family could experience places they may not get to and then I decided to go public with Flights of Fancy.

Your blog header looks like a Cathay Pacific aeroplane? If so it’s me that should be saying ‘come fly with me to the far reaches of the earth’ as that’s how I’m able to get around the world for my blog.
